No, I wish you were right. What is happening to the USA is what happened to the Roman Republic. Not exactly but close. The Roman Republic became an empire. Then citizenship was given to everyone and then hordes flooded in with no allegiance to any nation. Then it meant nothing to be a Roman. No nationalism, no will to fight the hordes.
The USA is now an empire but instead of one ruler we have the Judiciary and the bureaucracy ruling us. We are on the same path.
History doesn't repeat itself but it rhymes.
