The Flynn Entrapment
WSJ ^ | 12/12/2018 | board

A court filing shows the ugly tactics employed by James Comey’s FBI.

Of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s many targets, the most tragic may be former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. The former three-star general pleaded guilty last year to a single count of lying to the FBI about conversations he had with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S. Now we learn from Mr. Flynn’s court filing to the sentencing judge that senior bureau officials acted in a way to set him up for the fall.

Not a rich man after decades in uniform, Mr. Flynn pleaded guilty to avoid bankruptcy and spare his son from becoming a legal target. Mr. Flynn’s filing doesn’t take issue with the description of his offense. But the “additional facts” the Flynn defense team flags for the court raise doubts about FBI conduct.

The Flynn filing describes government documents concerning the Jan. 24, 2017 meeting with two FBI agents when Mr. Flynn supposedly lied. It turns out the meeting was set up by then Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who personally called Mr. Flynn that day on other business—to discuss an FBI training session. By Mr. McCabe’s account, on that call he told Mr. Flynn he “felt that we needed to have two of our agents sit down” with him to talk about his Russia communications.

Analogy:

My dog’s name is Crossley.

One year from now, the FBI will “unofficially” ask you about my dog.
If you say his name is “Crosby”, you’ll be charged with lying to police.
If you say “I don’t remember”, you’ll be charged with withholding evidence.
If you say “I don’t know”, you’ll be charged with obstructing justice.
And we, FBI included, all know d@#^ well you won’t remember his name.

Seems that’s an oversimplified form of what Flynn was charged with.

They have been entraping people for forty years...

Read Police State by Gerry Spence..

In his 60-plus years as a trial lawyer, Gerry Spence has never represented a person accused of a crime in which the police hadn’t themselves violated the law. Whether by covering up their corrupt dealings, by the falsification or manufacture of evidence, or by the outright murder of civilians, those individuals charged with upholding the law too often break it. The police and prosecutors won’t charge or convict themselves, so the crimes of the criminal justice system are swept under the rug. Nothing changes.

Police State narrates the shocking account of the Madrid train bombings: how the FBI accused an innocent man of treasonous acts they knew he hadn’t committed. It details the rampant racism within Chicago’s police department, which landed a teenager, Dennis Williams, on death row. It unveils the coercive efforts of two cops to extract a false murder confession from frightened, fragile Albert Hancock, along with other appalling evidence from eight of Spence’s most famous cases.

And it raises the question: when the people we pay to protect us instead persecute us, how can we be safe?
In Police State,

Spence issues a stinging indictment of the American justice system. Demonstrating that the way we select and train our officers guarantees fatal abuses of justice, he prescribes a challenging cure that stands to restore the promise of liberty and justice for all.

I It isn’t only the nature of the interview itself which is objectionable. The context is unforgivable. This was a foreign policy transition figure who was going to take office in a few weeks and the outgoing administration sent agents to investigate and prosecute this hero just to cause trouble for trump. This is how they do horribly illegal things under the cover of legal process. Note that Comey in his testimony kept referring to how much he trusts the process because that’s what hes hiding behind.

General Flynn had a reason not to fully remember his conversation with the Russian Ambassador. At the time of the call, he was on vacation in the Dominican Republic.

This is called conspiracy to deprive rights under color of law. May Flynn recoup all his losses and then some from the personal assets of Comey & Co.

Licensed to Lie: Exposing Corruption in the Department of Justice by Sidney Powell

Rush mentions this book often. He said Judge Emmett Sullivan was also involved in some of the cases in this book.

Gen Flynn was set up by the FBI to manufacture a false case of process crimes against him.

Mueller's special prosecutors then knowingly conducted an abusive, malicious false prosecution against him that brought the full weight of the US criminal justice system against Flynn to crush him and his son into financial ruin in an attempt to coerce Flynn into false testimony against President Trump

This is a DOJ/ FBI and Mueller/Comey signature lawfare operation to destroy an innocent public figure.

They have used the same techniques to destroy the lives of people like Martha Stewart, Scooter Libby, Sen Ted Stevens and many others for personal and political gain with false and baseless accusations and manufactured offenses

They have abused their positions of power and trust and they deserve to be tried, convicted and jailed for the rest of their lives to make an example

If these corrupt, rouge law enforcement agents can do this to wealthy business people, corporate CEOs, United States Senators , media stars, government officials, Military Generals or Admirals and even a billionaire President of the United States, then they can do it any American

Some may even deserve a hanging

Yep. It’s a sad state of affairs.
That’s why one immediately pleads the 5th and asks for an attorney when an FBI agent asks for anything more than an ID.

... when the people we pay to protect us instead persecute us, how can we be safe?

You state the problem clearly but overlook it.

In terms of criminal justice (as opposed to national defense), the notion of "paying people to protect us" was completely alien to the founders of this country. This country was founded by men who expected Americans to defend themselves, not disarm themselves and hire a police force to protect them.

What bothers me is how corrupt the FBI is. They set up this with typical lawyer tricks to get a fake confession. Damn Government is so corrupt it will never be corrected. America is on the road to communism and I hope Trump can save us.

We are facing pure evil. I hope we find a permanent solution to that problem. The preferred solution is reelecting President Trump for a second four year term and then enacting the agenda he was elected to enact - restoring the rule of law and constitutionally-limited government. The alternate permanent solution would also solve the Deep State problem, but it would be messier.

It sounded to me as though Flynn had been manipulated into describing his own actions as wrong, in the hopes of a reduced sentence, then the judge said his actions were so wrong that he couldn’t reduce the sentence.

I hope to see the day when real criminals are charged with real crimes and after proof is rendered, given real sentences. Many suspect it would not be difficult to find real criminals but if they have immunity through their influence, we won’t be seeing them in court.

What happened to the original fbi 302s filled out right after the Flynn ambush interview? The one cited in Mule Ears’ charging document is dated months after the interview. What changed from the original?

The judge has the power to throw out the case against Flynn. I’m not expecting that, but it would be justice.
