The French even admit....on the books, he hadn’t worked since 2011. 4.5 years of that, he was in prison (in France and Germany). This guy was simply a born-loser with no future....drug-dealer....robbery was his only accomplishments in the past decade.
The current youth (under 25) unemployment rate in France is 21.5%.
Radical Islam fed on this guys frustration. But it was generously helped by government policies that institutionalize higher unemployment as the cost of employment security for those who do have jobs.
An ex-con of Arab descent doesn't have many options in France. Going out in a blaze of glory for Allah, with a guarantee of a spot in heaven, looks good by comparison.
Of course now he probably realizes that his religious and life choices had a different result from what his false prophet promised.
In the past month, a new book came out in Germany and talked a good bit over educational failures of the ‘migration-class’. The guy went and talked to educators and statistical people.
So what he said via the book is that a fair number of the migration-class kids...simply aren’t at the same level of a German kid. Even by age ten....a lot of them are already a full year behind. Traditionally, if a German kid got behind...the parents would go and pay a tutor ‘company’ and the kid would spend three to five hours a week...progressing to where they should be. These migrant families aren’t doing that.
Imagine the migrant kid then...age 14/15...supposed to be headed to apprentice opportunities, and he’s just not qualified (math skills, thinking, reading comprehension, etc). Some apprentice operations now mandate a entry test and won’t even accept applicants with poor math skills. Same organizations won’t put up with kids who show up late, or play ‘sick’.
Once you get dumped out of an apprentice program...pretty good odds that you are finished and the Job-Center won’t mess around with you or give you a second chance.
I was watching some German welfare reality show this year...maybe revolving around 20-odd Germans (not migrants)....all had five to twenty years of unemployment. The key feature that you came to...ALL of them had failed apprentice program episodes (never getting a certified occupation). There’s a major problem brewing here, but I can’t say how you’d go and fix this.
