As seen on Outnumbered The panel on "Outnumbered" discussed a top North Carolina congressman's claim that whistleblowers came forward to him about potential illicit activity at the Clinton Foundation.
Melissa Francis said Rep. Mark Meadows, a Republican who represents the Smokies, told Fox News that three people have offered him "hundreds of pages of evidence of illegal activity."
Francis said Meadows -- the chair of the conservative House Freedom Caucus -- plans to hold a hearing next week in the oversight subcommittee he chairs to look into the allegations.
She said that "evidence has been there forever" leading to the conclusion that the Clinton Foundation is indeed rife with corrupt dealings.
Francis said the government of Abu Dhabi -- capital of the United Arab Emirates -- paid former President Clinton $1 million to give a pair of speeches while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state.

Why was DOJ John Huber a no show at the oversight committee
hearing today? I am tired of DOJ stonewalling congress. Was the IG or Rosenstein behind this stonewalling. Huber has a staff of 400 people working on Clinton foundation for about one year, what is up

I stopped watching after 1 1/2 hours. It was going nowhere, and nothing earth-shattering was revealed. The Republicans made innuendos about quid pro quo with the Clintons vis-a-vis donations and access to the State Department, and Dims called the hearings a witch hunt against the Clintons. (Well, Hillary is a ...)

Why is this hearing being held in Congress?
No, really, think about it.
If the Clinton Foundation shenanigans are as egregious as they are alleged; and I am *NOT* particularly talking about broad brush things like Uranium One, Haiti, fake AIDS drugs imported into Africa, or any of those truly enormous issues;
To hold hearings in a generally public forum where the questioning is limited to 5 minutes is nothing but Kabuki theater. Nothing will ever come of such activity; except the regeneration of the meme “Republicans have already held their ridiculous hearings 11 times and if the HRC had done anything wrong, why, there would be indictments. There are no indictments, so there is no way she could ever have done anything wrong”.
If the CF is to be prosecuted, it will be upon the charity frauds committed by the foundation; the failure to file proper state-by-state paperwork (and the burden on that is quite serious) and the co-mingling of foundation and underwear funds for Bill & Hill. This is intricate and complex stuff that takes hours to properly depose out of witnesses and documents. To hold the hearings in Congress @ 5 mins per questioner, plus half of them are HRC sycophants or like Darrell Issa, have the uncanny knack for asking questions that blur all the issues while they pretend to be serious and lawyerly. These frauds take forensic accounting and the development of work-product in the form of a report; another document. Otherwise it all turns into on-the-fly blather, unsupported by evidence; no different than the slurs thrown at Republicans. Nuance, innuendo.

Good post...it’s not even good kabuki theater.
Shoot ...there is enough cash sloshing around in the CF/CGI offshore accounts to distribute all across 435 congressman and 100 senators and several dozen international “leaders” of the likes of Soros to make good and damn sure this is little other than Kabuki...and that when HRC and WJC are 6 feet under they’ll all be free to party at the trough!
Why did Huber not show up?
It’s being done for the same reason the recent Comey hearings were held. It gives him the excuse to withhold testimony under “sources and methods” secrecy; and most Congresspeople cannot formulate questions that actually get at pieces of criticality; meanwhile his supporters (aka Dems) can ask questions that give him the opportunity to speak of the grand institution of the FBI. It’s pure show.
And if he comes off like a forgetful and absentminded goofball, well, that ain’t a crime, and it’s forgotten in 24 hours. And he still gets his $12 MM book advance. Tell you what, I will act like a complete idiot for $12 MM. Maybe even half that.

Huber was a no show because there is an on-going criminal investigation into the Foundation.
Ongoing investigation for ever. This is an oversight committee that has executive powers to oversee DOJ and its FBI, Congress pays for the salaries. This committee has clearances to ask questions and ongoing investigations is not an excuse for duly elected Congressmen like Cong. Mark Meadows not to compel testimony. We don’t even know if Grand Juries have been impaneled, if witnesses have been served to appear.
Who is in charge here? For all its costing we could build the wall.
