470 I am not surprised. Hannity cited the 400 number months ago.

Now Mueller is going after other things Trump and still not looking at the Multitude of Russian / Clinton deals.

Mueller signed off on the Uranium one sale OK.

I have no idea. I would expect they could be looking into U1 and other things as well. But of course it is all hearsay at this point.

So, in the last couple weeks of majority they begin this investigation “in earnest”? LOL, one has to be a fool to buy into this crap. Screw them

No, wrong, #FakeNews alert.

Horowitz, the DOJ Inspector General has his staff of auditors, administrators, investigators, etc. who cover 15+ offices of the IG around the country. They handle ALL kinds of audits and investigations for the huge DOJ of 100,000+ employees. Any allegations of financial or professional impropriety by anyone across the entire DOJ.

Does anyone seriously believe that IG Horowitz could/would have his entire IG staff all across the country drop every other case for a year and they have all been doing only Clinton Foundation, Uranium One, FISA abuses, etc.??

Of course not, the idea is ludicrous, no matter what some journalist or talking head or Youtube pontificator may say.

This is the kind of fantasy scenario spun by people have no experience of the federal govt or in large organizations, multiple sites, etc. Does Horowitz have *some* kind of team investigating CF, etc.? Sure, maybe, who knows. We don’t see anything but something may be there. It may be only the IG’s junior intern, or it may be a few serious investigators. But the chances that the IG dropped all other DOJ work for a year to leave 100,000 DOJ employees across the USA with effectively no IG functions? Zero chance.

ahaa, I wrote up my last comment before finishing the thread.... you have put the point so much more succinctly... but I tried to explain *why* this is such an implausible idea (to re-direct the entire staff of the IG for the past year).

No one ever said that he dropped every other case. But thank you for at least stating your reasoning instead of a one line insult.

When you say Huber has “470” investigators for the past year the common sense implication is that much or all of their time and energy is devoted to work done for Huber’s investigations. Otherwise, it is extremely misleading to pretend there are 470 investigators on the CF, Uranium One, etc.

Maybe there are 2 IG investigators working on the CF. Maybe none. Maybe a lot more than 2. We don’t know. What we do know is that there is no basis to say there are “470” DOJ IG investigators focused on the Clinton Foundation.

If you watched the testimony today then you saw that they had a place set for Huber. Huber was asked by the committee to come and testify. We also know that the DOJ would not allow that. Why would they not allow that? Only one reason really. Because the hearing involved matters that were under active investigation. And Huber is a party to that investigation.

And how do you know that Huber does not have 1000 or 2000 investigators working for him. And only 470 are involved in these matters.

All that really matters is that there are investigations. Huber is highly involved and there is a major investigation in the Little Rock FBI field office as well.

Well then lets do the math. 470-45 =425 Extra personnel. And for all we know there are 45+470. In any case there is something big going on there that is way out of the ordinary.

oops sorry. I misread. Use 85 instead of 45. Not much difference how ever.

Well you can imagine anything you want, but you are making all kinds of unwarranted leaps. (1) there might certainly be multiple other possible reasons DOJ did not let Huber appear today; (2) there is no plausible case that Huber has thousands of investigators; (3) we don’t know that anything big is happening with Little Rock FBI and CF; (4) the depth and quality of investigations is of immense importance. We know from Strzok et al. that totally bogus investigations are possible and even likely.
