What a nightmare. This is the same Veteran’s Hospital that I go to. It’s in San Francisco, down Clement St. About 10 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge.

None of this treatment is justified, and most of it is illegal. Nonetheless, she was warned to stop pushing back against the bureaucracy. Warned many times.

When you begin to expose the Government’s dirty deeds online via creative ‘Memes’ and comic strips, they are going come back at you. Any Governmental structure can become a huge, unfeeling, crushing monster when you threaten it’s status.

I recall the year I was in the Navy, and I realized that as I am willingly serving my country, I am also willingly giving up certain civil rights as an American for the time of my enlistment. That’s what the term GI comes from; while serving you are a Government Issue. You are a tool of the Government. They have much authority over what does or does not happen to you. Don’t waste too much time or energy fighting against that basic fact.

So perhaps the same attitude of forfeiting one’s civil rights will continue if you chose to work for the government while a civilian. I hope she gets free of this mess, and stays away from trying to confront them in that manner.

Thanks for the local info. Makes her much more plausible.

Whistleblowers, no matter how righteous, seldom prosper.

It is evil, but true.
