Standard Leftist line, sad that enough people on our side buy into it too - which is why it passed last November.

The bottom line is that permanently losing one’s right to vote was PART OF THE PUNISHMENT when the crime was committed. If you want to vote, then don’t be a felon - it was very simple.

Agree. When crimes justify the loss of liberty, society has every right to set the terms for reentry into society. Voting is a political right to which not everyone is entitled.
