WILL THE MUELLER SWITCH PROJECT COLLAPSE?
Powerline ^ | December 16, 2018 | JOHN HINDERAKER

Posted on 12/16/2018 8:26:49 AM PST by Hojczyk

The sentencing of General Michael Flynn could turn out to be the Waterloo of the Mueller Switch Project. The feds never could have convicted Flynn of perjury or lying to government officials–they don’t even have a transcript of what he said to the FBI! As a criminal case, it was always a non-starter. The Justice Department initially had no intention of prosecuting. But then, after Robert Mueller took over the case, Flynn was squeezed into a single guilty plea by the threat of personal bankruptcy.

Mueller’s team is now saying that General Flynn needn’t go to prison–the equivalent of “oops, never mind”–and it appears that Judge Emmet Sullivan may be on to Mueller. We will soon find out.

Meanwhile, even NPR has noticed that the Democrats’ beloved Russia collusion conspiracy theory has fallen apart:

Trump has been implicated in ordering a scheme to silence two women ahead of Election Day in 2016 about the alleged sexual relationships they had with him years before.

That is a serious matter, or it might have been in other times, but this scheme is decidedly not a global conspiracy with a foreign power to steal the election. *** From what is visible today…the case is still Swiss cheese.

NPR makes the obvious point that we and others have observed repeatedly: the absence of evidence of Russian collusion in Mueller’s attacks on General Flynn, Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen, not to mention the continued absence of any charges whatsoever against Carter Page, who must be the most innocent man in America, plainly means that when it comes to collusion–the ostensible subject of his investigation–Mueller is shooting blanks. Say, Bob, remind me: what does Stormy Daniels have to do with your mission as Special Counsel?

Yet he pleaded guilty. Why? Did he even have a lawyer?

Federal prosecutors have a blank checkbook.

Do you understand that?

Yet the Fraud continues on, 2 years and counting. Why? Aren’t these people accountable to anyone?

So they entrapped Flynn and now want to impeach Trump because he was the victim of extortion? It’s time for Mueller and his entire team to be prosecuted for abuse of power along with the democrats who prompted this farce.

Trump has been implicated in ordering a scheme to silence two women...

They didn't have to take the money. At least he didn't invite them to a tour of Ft. Marcy Park...

If Trump is impeached and removed from office while Hillary and the others suffer no consequences for their crimes, SHTF.

“Did he even have a lawyer?”

Lawyers on that level are unbelievably expensive.

Why is it okay for any prosecutor, investigator, or police to lie, but not then also okay for a citizen, suspect or not, to do so? Friday in an interview on Fox one of the retired FBI guests was making point that it was okay for the FBI to lie to Flynn. No one questioned this. It has been bothering me since.

Why did he plead guilty? Because they bankrupted him with legal fees and were threatening to do the same with his son. The FBI and DOJ are completely corrupt. Rank and file are just as complicit as higher ups because they refuse to expose the wrongdoing.

Everybody, including the Conservative Media seems to be missing the REAL reason the Mueller Probe goes on and on and on. It has very little to do with nailing Trump. It is REALLY all about the Lawyers on the Special Counsel’s payroll continuing to deposit big Taxpayers Checks into their Bank Accounts. As long as they can drag this thing on, the more money they rake in. It is the Old Story of “Follow the Money”, and in this case, it is the big easy money these Lawyers are making at Taxpayer Expense.

The words to listen for from the judge are ‘terminating sanctions’ for prosecutorial misconduct, followed by ‘... disbarment ...’. You deny a defendant a document that can provide exculpatory evidence in a motion to compel, and fraudulently substitute another in its place, it’s usually a case killer. If Mueller provides the actual document, his misconduct will be even more apparent. That’s what’s up for Monday!

…………………………………………………
I agree and they should be made to pay out of their own pockets the amount squandered of taxpayers money as well as all other costs. Most important, General Flynn should be “Made Whole” for his losses out of the abusers’ own accounts, not the government’s accounts.
This kind of activity must STOP and the only way to do it is to hold the offenders accountable.

Lawyers at that level probably do NOT have security clearance, after all we are talking about lawyers.

Removal from office does not necessarily follow impeachment!

Slick was impeached but not removed. I think the same thing will happen to Trump. All you need for impeachment is a simple majority, you know like for electing speaker that ding bat Pelosi. They will impeach Trump because we impeached one of theirs - Remember Slick! It’s that simple! It’s icing & whipped cream on the cake because it’s Trump but in reality any GOP’er will do. It’s a childish “tit-for-tat” thing. Schoolyard stuff ! But that’s what passes for deep political thinking for the left in America today. They won’t be happy until one of ours has the scarlet “I” for impeachment. In their mind it makes our guy the same as their guy. Hillary probably even thinks this boasts her chances.

Trump should appoint a special counsel to investigate Mueller.
