My congressman, Jason Lewis (R) was defeated by the Somali vote in my district.
I guess they really don't care that they voted for a lesbian.
Or, they're just too stupid to know who they actually voted for.

Reduce gun violence? Stricter laws always do that. Think chiraq.

A shift in the balance of power at the state Capitol has boosted the odds of lawmakers passing bills to reduce gun violence during the upcoming legislative session. The Dems are going to pass Vermont-style carry laws?

Democrats would vote for a loaf of Wonder bread as long as it had a D listed by it on the ballot.

"...where the GOP maintains a one-vote majority..."
Does this mean they stopped finding trunkloads of seemingly uncounted Democrat ballots and have concluded Election Season?

1 in 4 have a license to fish and hunt in Minnesota.
They can try but it won’t go anywhere.

"A shift in the balance of power at the state Capitol has boosted the odds of lawmakers passing bills to reduce gun violence during the upcoming legislative session." What a bunch of crap. Lawmakers cannot reduce violence. It is a social construct that they help create.

I know people who hunt and fish in MN, and they and their families vote in lock-step with the DFL.

it was a off year for the senate.. Only 1 seat was up on a special election (because Gov Dumbass named his Lt Gov to the senate, this pulled the president of the senate a republican out of the senate and made a huge mess of things)..
a republican won that seat.

A state may not violate a constitutional right.
***********************************************
The only rights we have are those we’re willing to shed blood to keep.
Now, we’ve convinced the enemy we’ll never go that far. So, the enemy believes it can take away whatever rights it decides to.
The only way to stop them will be to kill them in very large numbers. The enemy will not believe we’re capable of doing so right up until we’ve done so.
I don’t think we’ll go there.
There’s a lot of talk about going there. Slogans and such like. But, seriously, if we were going to go there, we’d already have been there and back. The provocations have been sufficient.

When our Founders were building our country, one of the things they did was to look at the best examples of the 13 colonies as to how things worked best. For example, they chose the strength of the governor of New York as a way of proceeding with a strong president, they looked to Maryland for its original freedom of religion, etc.
I wonder what they would see when they look at all the states today, if they were going to flush out an even stronger union. They probably would not give CA, WA, OR, IL, MN or NY a second look.
