How about the political will to stop companies from hiring illegals? How about the political will to stop all the transfer payments by taxing them?
I think they are going to get a DOJ opinion as to whether or not they can use DOD funding to build the wall.
’ve had this discussion with many people. Around here, it’s not Mexicans or South Americans taking over. It’s Asians and Phillipinos. Around here people think Trump targets the wrong demographic because it has the added benefit of being good politics for the base.
But I can say this, the Chinese are taking over entire towns/neighborhoods around here. They buy gigantic homes and 8-10 people live in the homes - usually more than 2-3 generations so that both parents work while grandparents stay home and raise the kids. No daycare costs. They are parlaying this strategy into the ability to buy yup everything. Indians do it too. Diners, gas stations, delis, convenience stores...you name it. All “minority” owned.
And they bitch about white privilege.
No, obviously not.
What this country has the political will to do is replace white people with third world dependents.
That’s it.
That’s what we’re doing.
Nothing else.
That assumes they BUILD the wall. Never. Going. To. Happen.

Well, I can only presume they’re legal. It wasn’t really a complaint.
It’s more just an observation about a cultural shift.
They have already built sections.
No wall and then I stay home on election day, from now on. I hope Ocassio-Cortez takes over for Nancy.

Trump probably realized the Republicans won’t have his back on this one.
Trump is all alone.
Presumably McConnell and Ryan told the WH that they would work out a veto proof deal with Democrats to avoid a shut down. Trump would have been seen as totally powerless if that happened.

Well looks like Trump is a one term president.
I don’t think so. Trump needs to separates himself from the GOP. Hopefully he forms his own party.
Why should he engage the GOP over it when he has another way to fund it? Most of the GOP people who opposed him on the Wall are now done politically.
..... This, coupled with the economy being scuttled before the end of the year puts The Donald’s plan for a second term in office in serious Jeopardy.
