Heh, heh, I live in a small Southern state which is pro-gun rights & CCW’s are shall issue. Show CCW & DL at a traffic stop & the patrolman becomes Officer Friendly.
But I did drive through Upstate on our way to a wedding in Ottawa. Stopped for gas in a small town & the people were the same as anywhere else. I know that the political culture of NYC & Albany are at war with the rest of New York.
Unfortunately, as in my state of NJ, there are far more voters in the urban sh!tholes than the remaining American sections of our states. The only hope for these states is if something happens along the lines of Michigan: The welfare state itself becomes unbearable to gibsmedats, and they leave. We are well on our way there in both NY and NJ; the “Detroitification” of both states (high taxes coupled with Third World conditions) is almost complete.
