OK- so go to the Fed Reserve and take out a $5B bridge loan...build the wall now...done.
We sent Trump to the beltway to be a fighter. Not a GOPe doormat. Hillary won’t be on the ballot in 2020. Dems will put some fresh faces on the ticket and Trump will be lucky to get 100 EVs if he preemptively surrenders on the wall.
It seems the GOPe dug in their heels on the preemptive surrender here because the Dems will take over the House. Then they can get back to blame Pelosi nonsense.
This is Trump’s last chance and he is punting into a Democrat controlled Congress. Totally disgusted with him and the GOPe.
And it’s National Security. The Military is building the wall.
You are dreaming. Military is already being withdrawn from the border. That, apparently, was election season theater and nothing more.

Money going to American companies and individuals is better for the country that if it went to the government.
But money still needs to be allocated for the wall. I read that Congress can earmark Military money so it specifically can’t be used for the wall.
Think Trump is out by 2020, whether he chooses not run or is beaten so he doesn’t care if the wall is built or not.
I think Trump should have addressed the nation. Go on National TV @ 8pm regarding national security. Tell the people about the amount of drugs, criminals that come across our southern border. State the percentage of illegal aliens in our state and federal prisons. How much not having a wall is costing our country annually. SPELL IT OUT directly to the people. Ask the people to call their congressman and demand a vote.

I think some people just don’t understand Trump. He is a doer and builder and doesn’t give up ever. He is the ONLY one that is on our side. You have given up already?
Personally I believe Trump is just going to take money from the DOD and use the corps of engineers to build the wall. OK by me.
Well he made a comment a week or two ago that he would not be around when the national debt would have to be addressed...Well that time will be very, very soon some reasoning is he has seen how bad things really are and decided maybe it’s time me to cut and run...

Oh please. The wall will pay for itself. Calculate the amount we shell out every year to illegals in public assistance.
You don’t even have to factor in what their felonies cost us in law enforcement, court, public defender, jail, and prison expenses.
Hopefully, the President will end run around the congressional criminals and just do it via our military. The cynical part of me suspects this may be timed closer to 2020.

My faith in President Trump remains unbowed. He’s a very different kind of president, and it takes some thinking to keep up with him.
At times, he makes you think he’s low in impulse control. Then, he shrewdly sets his enemies up and knocks them down like bowling pins.
This is the most amusing presidency ever, if you can learn to roll with it.

There is absolutely no HARD EVIDENCE that President Trump has any intention of ever actually FULLY FUNDING AND BUILDING A REAL "WALL", to secure our ENTIRE Southern Border. On top of that, President Trump has done nothing to financially punish Mexico for its ongoing state sponsored promotion of and aid in perpetuating this invasion of illegal alien criminals. Threats, tweets and talk is not action.
All he has done is send in a woefully inadequate number of troops who literally can't DO ANYTHING to ACTUALLY GUARD and PHYSICALLY PROTECT AND ENFORCE OUR BORDER, put up a little barbed wire and replaced some fencing, that's it! THERE IS NO PROMISED "WALL".
A "fence", is not "A WALL"; BUILD THE BLASTED WALL YOU PROMISED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, OR YOU ARE THROUGH Mr. President.

You are trying to rationalize the Trump claim that the new trade agreement pays for the wall. It does not.
The money flow is not soverign to soverign. The money flow is between private companies and citizens on both sides of the border.
What’s much worse is the announcement that $10.2 billion will flow southward. That money flow must stop. Thet money should be used for the wall. It certainly must not folw to the south
