I would invest in a heartbeat if I knew there was a legally vetted entity that I knew for a fact could transfer the funds to actual construction.

This whole thing puts the Dems between a rock and a hard place-—while they’re used to gobs of money flowing their way, THIS is a whole different animal, and they could feel it like the opening salvo in a New Civil War. Closing the border would choke off all the new “constituents” they are counting on to solidify the power they dearly hope will grow and keep growing. Actually, this being funded by the Trump voters always seemed to me to be the obvious way to do it.
