The French officers who denounced the Marrakesh deal have exposed themselves to disciplinary sanctions by the military.
Paris: The international conference on the Global Compact for Migration was held on 10 and 11 December 2018 in the Moroccan city of Marrakech, but top level military figures denounced it as treason in an open letter the head of state.
Contacted by LOpinion, the Ministry of the Armed Forces called the move inadmissible and unworthy. The open letter was sent by 13 officers opposed to France signing the Compact.
The Minister of the Armies, Florence Parly dismissed the remarks contained in the letter. Generals 2S [meaning of the 2nd section, that is to say, those who are no longer active within the army but still on duty] who signed this text have a duty to remain silent. This duty of secrecy obliges them, especially since, as general officers, they embody the top of the military hierarchy, that is to say, they are in charge of setting an example. They do not meet their statutory obligations and are therefore subject to disciplinary sanctions, which we will have the opportunity to examine in the days to come, Parly threatened the signatories.
In their open letter published on various sites from 8 December, before the signing of the pact, 11 generals, an admiral, a colonel and former Defense Minister Charles Millon, denounced the decision of the French authorities to sign the UN text on migration.
These signatories accused the Compact of instituting a real right to migration and to impose on national legislation, while 80 percent of the French population considers that immigration must be stopped or drastically regulated.
Describing it as a denial of democracy, or even [treason] of the nation, the military leaders asked Emmanuel Macron to postpone the signing of this Compact.
Many have expressed their fears that France may now be losing sovereignty over migration issues. The text is still subject to a final ratification vote on 19 December at the UN General Assembly in New York.
Time for a coup d’etat.
Maybe Macron can drag some broke-dick tanks into some intersections like DeGaulle did.
They are thought criminals, plain and simple. A visit to Room 101 is in order.
I guess they dont want to have FRENCH PATRIOTS in the French army.
If they fire all those Army officers, who will command the next retreat and surrender?
Are 99% of world leaders Insane ?
Time for a military coup d’etat in France. Do it.
It is time to lead your army against the state.
JoMa
