I love how Der Spiegel and everybody else in the media is so shocked about a reporter making things up. This is how they roll. In the world of the MSM, the only thing this guy did wrong was get caught.
I very familiar with this kind of crap. I live in Utah. Reading anything in the media about Utah is like this story. The streets are full of weird people dressed like they came straight off the set of Little House On The Prairie, we all say a prayer over an M-5 rifle, people who have a bumper sticker of a democrat get beat up and their tires slashed, and a lot of other assorted crap.
Go read anything in the MSM about Utah. In the world of the MSM, the only thing this guy did wrong was get caught.
If it was CNN, he would’ve gotten a writing award and the press release would’ve said, “He was just raising awareness, this is how most small towns roll.”
