I understand sympathy with the Kurds is the main sticking point and I feel bad for them.

But I hear tell that half of the “moderate rebels” we’ve been backing are actually Islamic extremists, this is from 2016 but one group we were backing cut off a kid’s head, and we had CIA-backed rebels fighting against Pentagon-backed rebels! I presume it’s gotten less ‘chaotic’ since Odumbo left office but yeeeeez, sure looks like a quagmire with no end in sight, scumbag vs. scumbag vs. scumabg multi-sided civil war that we don’t need to be involved in. Seems to me Assad can handle finishing off ISIS.

And Afghanistan, what, permanent occupation? I’m not a fan of half measures, I wouldn’t be opposed to unleashing a couple tactical nukes in the mountains. But if we’re not gonna hunt down and kill every single Taliban, who unfortunately in some ways compare favorably to some of our boy-raping warlord “friends” over there (we’re just letting them rape boys, it’s sickening), I think we outta leave.

If we need to go back to either bleephole in a couple years, fine, we’ll cross that bridge if we have to to.

Either way, they lost, we won.

Millions of lives spared as the result of those devices. Some of my uncles included, because they would have been part of the invasion of the mainland if not.
