A jewelry store at Paris Orly airport apologized for describing the Ben Gurion Airport in Israel as being located in Occupied Palestine Territories, JTA reported on Friday.
In October, a receipt given to an Israeli couple who purchased an item at the Royal Quartz/Galeries Lafayette store said Ben Gurion was in occupied Palestine.
The airport is located in the city of Lod, southeast of Tel Aviv.
Arthur Lemoine, the director-general of the Galeries Lafayette watch division, said on Friday that steps will be taken to address the mistake.

It appears from the story that it was not the store’s decision to label the product that way, but the European Union’s decision? Did I read that rightly?
No. Ben Gurion Airport is not in disputed territory any more than Tel Aviv is. The EU labels products from the West Bank.
This didn’t happen without the EU’s tacit consent, though. When the EU are backing a “people” with the motto “From the river to the sea”, they know what they’re backing.
