I don’t click on WP links. But this seems to contradict the article posted right after this.
25B for DACA maybe.
President Trump —or staff— if you are reading this thread, NO DACA DEAL! Definitely not for a mere $2.5 billion. Maybe they give you $25 billion and no strings attached. But DACA should be for the remainder of 670K kids that are not already in jail or pending prosecution. Not for parents and others! Get e-Verify while you are at it.
I thought the House had sent a CR with 5 Billion for a Wall to the Senate, and the Senate was unlikely to get 60 votes on the floor to send it to PDJT.
From what Im hearing the government is funded well into 2019, essential services are not touched, where’s the fire?
Must be FAKE NEWS,last I saw the House Passed the bill, Chuck Schumer is shutting down the government.
That’s a shame.
If I were President Trump, I would immediately rub their noses in it by signing an Executive Order that would amend the Congressional funerary protocols to provide that every American citizen who is murdered by an illegal alien shall lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda for a period of three days.
All costs and expenses incurred, direct or indirect, in connection with these memorials shall be reimbursed from the “Salaries and Wages” budget line item for all 535 petulant 3rd-grade brats who are pretending to be adult members of the United States Congress.
They are all responsible for demonstrating an egregious and callous disregard for the very lives of the American citizens they are all sworn to protect. Let them protest that Executive Order in the court of public opinion!
What a BS headline.
House did its job. Senate can go along with House bill or not. If they don’t = partial shutdown.
Why is it assumed it is OK for the Senate to agree to, say, $1.6B in wall funding then send it back to the House. Screw them; agree to House version or own the shutdown.
True they didn’t pass a budget but then this wasn’t the 2019 Budget.
This is a spending bill to keep the gov’t operational. A new Budget
will be forthcoming later in 2019.

Shut it down and burn it down baby.
"Madam Pelosi, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!"
Even better if she's actually home on congressional recess...
...or if he shows up with a sledgehammer and starts pounding on it!
Only 8% of the federal government will be affected. And since most federal employees are off for the next 4 days (and a large percentage will taking vacation days until Jan 2), we’ll see practically no change. The ones affected will have to stay home and watch porn instead of at work.
Our $4.4 trillion federal budgeting process is worse than the budgeting process at your local pizza shoppe.
Aww, what happened to all that commity and collegiality that the Dems are always going on about? Why arent the Dems reaching across the aisle to do the right thing that also happens to be the will of the people? Over a paltry $5B? Tsk, tsk...
