That works when there are only a few people here and there with guns.
But with conservative estimates of about 1/3 of Americans owning guns - that's more than 100 million gun owners with 300+ million guns and a trillion rounds of ammo, and the news of confiscation occurring at the speed of electrons - don't see his scenario as sustainable.
Luckily, I'm not one of those gun-owners, so....
According to Gallup, 63% of Americans believe that having a gun in the home makes it a safer place to be. I think that's closer to the real number. If you thought that having a smoke alarm in your home made it safer, you would have one, wouldn't you?
A stranger asking if someone owns a gun, or has cash, drugs or other valuables in the home probably isn't going to get very accurate answers.
"More Than Six in 10 Americans Say Guns Make Homes Safer"
So I think it's about 2/3 of US households that own guns.
Yeah, and I’d like to know how it’s only that numbers given that for year there have been around 2 million NICS a month.
That’s 24 million in one year and well over , a guesstimate, of 150 million in the last ten years alone...
