Two LSU football players were trying to sell an electronic item when one of them fatally shot an 18-year-old man trying to rob them, police said Sunday. A good guy with a legally owned gun prevails. Harvard's newest freshman David Hogg ain't gonna like this. Also, LSU Athletic director Joe Aleva is a Suffern HS graduate, a few yrs before me. Local boy makes good.

Sounds like a righteous self-defense kill to me.

Their weapon was not concealed. Regardless, this is a great example of how a personal firearm can be used to protect your own life.

By legal I meant age wise and location. It could cause a sticky situation if there is a lib AG in the area. A side benefit where I am is that if you have a ccw you don’t pay the $25.00 background check fee. BOOM!

Merry Christmas

It used to be the law in NY. That you could avoid the NICS check if you had a pistol license. Till some slimy sheriff gave a felon buddy of his a concealed carry license. The feds stopped honoring it then.

I don’t think any white folks were involved in the creation of this event. I could be wrong about the perp, but I doubt it.

We bought a couple of items at various times from Craig’s list …arranged for midday meeting in the parking lot of a busy fast food restaurant. Not gonna say who was carrying. But I tend not to take chances.

DA is an older white guy but he graduated from Southern Law School. Served as an investigator in the DA’s office while going to law school.

Hard to tell from the bio which way he would go.

The local police department has a designated, well lit, area of their parking lot designated for transactions. Security cameras plus cops coming and going.

Yes, age could be a problem here. I believe that both LSU players are under 21.

Happened in Scotlandville, north side of Baton Rouge. You would not want to go there alone, black or white, and you would go there as they did — prepared.

Yea, come to think of it, I guess this guy won’t get to benefit from Trump Jr’s “Criminal Justice Reform”. To use a football analogy, one might say he “ran out the clock”.
