This is a private company, which doesn't have police, a military or a praetorian like governments. Hence lots of bad things can happen to them.
i.e. - They might get thrashed by congress, sued, bankrupted, have limbs and jaws broken by people who get close to them... all kinds of stuff like that.

What if the phone company or the power company did not like your “on-line persona” on Facebook or Twitter, or in public life even, and notified you that they “wished to disassociate themselves” from you?
How do you stand now? What would your position be?
