When the Republicans controlled the House, the Senate and the Presidency but continued funding both for Public Broadcasting and Planned Parenthood, you knew that they were not serious people. Also a serious person would use this government shutdown to fire every discretionary employee hired throughout the Federal Government from 2009-2016. If Trump actually started firing the Obama appointees, all Democrats, he would get his wall very quickly.
Serious people would not just end public funding for the abomination of “public” broadcasting—they would ban private funding for it as well.
The only way to kill that leftist propaganda beast is to chop off its head.
