House Republicans unceremoniously ended their investigation into the way the FBI and the Department of Justice handled Hillary Clinton’s email scandal and the bias allegations against President Trump.

The House probe was led by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and the Judiciary Committee and sought to look into allegations that the FBI and the DOJ were biased against Trump during the 2016 presidential election and favored Clinton’s candidacy.

Two Republicans chairing the committees – Reps. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., and Robert Goodlatte, R-Va. – said in a letter Friday that the DOJ must appoint a special counsel to investigate the “seemingly disparate treatment” of the investigations into Clinton’s use of private emails and Trump’s alleged ties to Russia

Fake post

Actually, if you were correctly to assess facts, you would have to admit that the Republicans did in fact vote to eliminate Obamacare and one man,John McCain, killed all their votes.

The Republicns voted to kill Obamacare.

The republicans are the most pathetic combination of stupidity and cowardice I’ve ever seen. They’ve done nothing but flap their gums for 2 years and have accomplished absolutely nothing on this front. They will never win back the house, nor do they deserve to. We are heading to one-party rule. California here we come.

re: “seemingly disparate treatment”

Can we say shockingly, blatantly, outrageously disparate treatment????

So this is how the Republican House winds up its term, with not even a whimper....

We can’t even get the names of the politicians who sexually harassed women (and probably men) that resulted in taxpayer hush money being paid out. Should we really believe anything will be done about Clinton?

“No, not wimps. The entire government aided, abetted and colluded in the illegal election of Barack Hussein Obama. “

The House investigations really never had the support of Speaker Ryan who sat by quietly. If Ryan and the GOP House leadership had been behind the investigations, they would have moved more quickly and received more coverage in the mainstream media. I never remember Ryan getting on television to condemn the corruption and obstruction of the Obama administration and Clinton State Department. Yet over the last two years he has been quick to run to the cameras to condemn tweets statements of the president of his own party.

“Actually, if you were correctly to assess facts, you would have to admit that the Republicans did in fact vote to eliminate Obamacare and one man,John McCain, killed all their votes.”

Actually three Republicans - McCain, Murkowski, and Collins voted no and all three are to blame. McCain receives the most scorn due to the dramatic way he cast his vote.

You are correct, the failure to repeal Obamacare is 100% with the Republican Party. One thing about the GOP. Once the Democrats get a social program and expansion of government passed and funded, the GOP will continue to rubber stamp it. Failed programs are never defunded and shut down.
