ISIS is active in Africa right now. It has no more died than the man in the moon.
ISIS is probably not dead. At least the huge motivation behind it among Middle Easterners isn’t. There’s really no reason to be in Syria. There are too many countries there who wish us ill and this conflict could get much bigger and for what?
Speaking for MY officer son who recently returned from Somalia, they are not there to stop ISIS or Al Shabab (however it’s spelled.). They are there to check the Chinese.
The Whole continent is a mess.
