Good men are either good and turn bad or good and forced to turn or else and then there are the good who remain good and are the enemy of our enemy

Patraeus is a liberal. Garlic to a vampire.

Petraeus was not “set up” by anyone. The gal was a starry-eyed junior officer (buffed, in the Army Reserves, and married) writing a book that got infatuated with the subject of her book. You could see that coming a mile off just based on this scenario.

Petraeus, as the married 4-star, had the duty to avoid reciprocating. We all know what happened. He should have NEVER put himself in that situation (ie once he checked her out he should NOT have agreed to cooperate with her precisely BECAUSE she was cute - he knew better and was MORALLY WEAK).

Every guy out there “knows” what I am talking about.

I bet he’d be whistling a different tune if he had gotten pardoned - but he didn’t deserve a pardon because he should have been hammered far worse for what he did.

“What is the matter with these generals?”

Apparently the upper ranks of our military is chock-a-block full of political soldiers, waiting for the opportunity to cash-in on their years of service.

Scary that they were ever in high positions. Can anyone name one military official that resigned during the Obama regime because of policy differences?

The Hill mentions -

He told Politico in December of that year that he’d be willing to work in the administration under “certain conditions.

but doesn’t mention:

23 Nov 2016: BBC: Gen David Petraeus opens door to Trump administration
General David Petraeus, one of the United States’ most prominent military officers, has indicated he would be willing to serve in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration if asked.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, he said: “The only response can be: ‘yes, Mr President’.”...

General Petraeus was indirectly critical of some of Donald Trump’s rhetoric during the presidential election campaign, describing the president elect’s anti-Muslim comments as toxic.
However, he said he had heard good things from those who have been speaking with Mr Trump since the election result...
“It’s interesting that those who have been talking to him have said, you know, he’s very personable, very hospitable, very gracious guy, full of questions and dialogue,” he said.

He also suggested that Mr Trump could forge closer ties with Russia, comparing his political position to that of President Nixon’s overtures to China in the 1970s.
“Only Nixon could have gone to China. Anyone else would have been criticised from the right,” he said.
“I think that the current president would have been criticised from the right had he tried some of the kinds of outreach that, in fact, President-elect Trump may pursue.”
But he warned that any such outreach should be attempted “with your eyes wide open”.

PS Petraeus was a "Military Fellow" at the CFR for 2 years. That info is no longer on his Wiki page but it once was.

In short, that makes Dave a NWO globalist butt-boy.

“On April 23, 2015, Petraeus pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of mishandling classified materials. He was given a two-year probationary period and a fine of $100,000.”

However, had Petraeus changed his name to Clinton there would been no intent to commit a crime and he’s be dancing scot free.

Well, on top of that, why would President Trump want someone with the poor judgment and lack of self-control that this man has shown?
