I no longer give to charities. Most of them spend much of the money on vendors and board members. I do agree that much of the money goes to the actual charity. But large amounts go to other things.
I do give to people who need help. Or small local groups where I can see the benefit.
I do the same thing.
If you research, you’ll find that there are good charities out there who give the majority of the $$ donated. Samaritan’s Purse is an example.
