There are not septic systems in these places. It all gets pumped out. No pumps. No disposal.

Thank you for the early morning sarcasm. You're making an assumption in saying I don't get out much. And you know there's an old saying that goes along with making assumptions....

I am quite aware that park restrooms have to be pumped. I am just surprised that this work is not getting done, especially in a place of such high national visibility as Yosemite. Further, the article intimates that the road ways are being used in place of functional restrooms. If conditions are this bad, seems like it is time to shut the park down. Just my humble op.
