One strange element of the attempted coup against Donald Trump is that no one involved has brought up the name of W. Mark Felt. Or perhaps that’s not so strange.

If that's Romney's thinking, and he's arrogant enough it probably is, he's out of his mind. Romney is tuned in the fawning news media, and they're only fawning because he's bashing Trump. Romney is situationally unaware he is despised by conservatives, except for the fake Jennifer Rubin and Bill Kristol types.

imagine if some of the GOP weren’t implicated in the attempted coup? investigations might have led to indictments of the actual traitors, including members of the FakeNewsMSM.

as for Romney - he has exposed himself as just another one of the possible coup-plotters, or at least as someone who was/is cheering them on.

President Trump has shone lights on so many dark corners. he needs to win again in 2020 to finish the job.

any Belief founded on taking your first picks of the multiple available women while excluding other men has some fundamental reasoning flaws...must have something about the water in Upstate New York during the 19th Century... see also the Oneida Community history. All Trump has to do is deny security clearance to Pelosi (after election to House Speaker) for not reporting Benghazi as acts of terrorism (but supported the cover-up instead).

It could be just that simple. Maybe Congress can figure out what Hillary did with those billions of $$$$ that went missing as Sec. of State (more than enough to build the wall, even) if this issue erupts.

Mark Felt is a unique figure in American history, an FBI official who actually did bring down a president.

No he didn't. Felt's intent wasn't to bring down Nixon, and he wasn't the one who provided the information that forced Nixon's resignation.
