The Time for Social Intervention is at Hand

In the turbulence of this political storm our society is at the point of no return and our own worst enemy is us. It is our failure to motivate our own neighbors and urge them to support America before we lose it forever that spells doom for the greatest country our earth has known.

In the last century a standard of mankind was that if something needed to be done to confront evil, Americans stepped up and did it. That may be a thing of the past, but we must understand that what we do beginning right now can alter the 2020 election the result of which will alter the course of history for a long time to come.

In 2016, sixty-three million people voted for Donald Trump and trusted him to drain the swamp. He may be rough around the edges politically speaking, but like the plumber we call when our drains are backing up, we don’t care if he’s a bit sloppy we just want the toilet to flush again.

President Trump still has work to do and he can’t do it without our help.

"This is not a meaningless plea. We are up against the wall when it comes to preserving our constitution and guaranteeing that the law is equal for everyone. Each of us can make a difference by making a believer of one new voter to support our president. Think very seriously about your responsibility, the debt you owe for your freedom and what you can do as you read these words from Sir Winston Churchill:

“If you will not fight when you can easily win without bloodshed; If you will not fight when your victory is sure and not to costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precious chance for survival.

There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

Total horsesh!t. This presupposes that our neighbors are amenable to reason. They are not. You cannot reason with liberals. You cannot bargain with liberals. Liberalism is a form of religion as open to reason as Islam. In the eyes of Democrats and the morons who vote for them we are not people with a different viewpoint to be considered. We are blasphemers and our support of the bill of rights is considered heresy. You can only destroy them or be destroyed by them.

I don't disagree, but I didn't see any mention of converting liberals.
I read; "Think about who you may know that has never voted, someone who takes no interest in politics, or a 17-year-old coming of age before the next election and pledge yourself to making them understand how important their defense of our future really is."

I take it to mean we could do more than forwarding email jokes and commenting on websites where most everyone agrees and already votes.

and yet, most people HAVE liberal neighbors, and as far as 17 year olds, they are ALREADY in the “Liberal” army

do you just like to mention emails, or are YOU actually doing something more than making inane comments?

my point is that the country is already split into two philosophical segments. Those who believe what they work for is theirs, and that the fruits of their labor belong to themselves, and those who want but don't want to work for what they want - called socialists by some, but basically they want to steal your assets.

They want what you have but rather than work for it they just want to take it from you. They're too lazy and cowardly to do their own stealing, so they vote Democrat to get the government to steal it for them. The Democrat candidate who promises them the most plunder generally gets elected.

They know how to manipulate the rules of the game to come out on top. If you stick to the accepted plays, they will continue to find exceptions that always fall in their favor. It’s rigged. Perhaps they won’t be beaten; but, they can run short of useful idiots.

Their minions haven’t really experienced the fury of “Mad” Maxmillian Rockatansky. They won’t necessarily be easily persuaded of the error in their ways. They need introduction to the concept of painful consequences for their actions. They yet falsely believe themselves immortal upon this field of play.

The Road Warrior would leave non standing. Arnaud Amaury would agree and say “Let God sort them out.”

Don't you think there's a point when someone can open their eyes to the fact that nothing is coming their way after all the stealing?

Do you hear the people sing?
Singing the songs of angry men?
It is the music of the people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!
Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Somewhere beyond the barricade
Is there a world you long to see?
Then join in the fight
That will give you the right to be free!

Yep - we need for folks willing to do more than bitch about what ain’t getting done by getting off their cheap and lazy arses and investing of themselves...unfortunately, even FR is saturated with lazy/feckless/welfare-minded fatalists who refuse to do anything until the victory has already been won - then they will bask in the ease created by others to save their worthless asses...

"Yep - we need for folks willing to do more than bitch about what ain’t getting done by getting off their cheap and lazy arses and investing of themselves"

We had a family friend (single mom) who went to work after lots of years. She was in admin with a liquor distributor and was thrilled about Obama care when it was publicized as something wonderful. Her kids were 18, 16 and 13.

Within two years she was paying just over $500 a month and her deductible was $8,500 a year which meant she paid cash for everything. I worked on her without getting in fights by simply addressing all the crap she was hearing at work from the teamsters.

Eventually I got her to register and vote for the first time in her life in 2016. Like a new diet or new love, she talked enthusiastically about what she had done and became a constant Trump supporter and defender. She has convinced her kids (now 27, 25 and 22) to do the same.

So I am, in a way, responsible for what seems like four new voters, but what if she and the kids are enthusiastically working on others?

Great work - I have talked to many and explained why their leftist concepts are dead wrong with facts instead of their rhetorical platitudes...most just get angrier but you can see the doubt and then the dawn passing through their eyes and demeanor...can’t tell how many, if any, changed the way they vote but I also make the donations I can and call/email the Congress critters...along with an occasional tweet.
