He's one of the Catholics. There are eleven of them that are Jews, Catholics, Blacks, and one big fat Mexican.

This would include Schumer, Pelosi and the ten House committee chairpersons who will be going after Trump. Only one of them is a white Protestant.

The last ice age ended about 12,500 years ago...

Wrong, the Last Ice Age began in the early 1970's and lasted until at least 1979, then Algore decided we were in the midst of Global Warming as we were coming out of the Ice Age. All the papers, magazines and news programs hyped up the Ice Age for almost 10 years, I lived through it.

Pallone is from New Jersey and New Jersey is like Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Virginia, and North Carolina.

They will all be installing lots of offshore windmills over the next 10 years and Trump has already sold them the offshore leases.

And they will all be angling for subsidies.

Nobody in the US has this technology so European companies will be doing it.

"Pallone said he is dedicating the first hearing to climate is meant in part to highlight how Democrats believe Republicans ignored the issue during their eight years in the majority."
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Hypothetically speaking, if Democrats really wanted to stop the so-called US carbon footprint from growing, then they would support Trump's border wall to stop undocumented Democrats and their carbon footprints from entering at US southern border.

And then anti-global warming California state government allows undocumented Democrats to have driver’s licenses so that they can drive vehicles with even bigger carbon footprints to the voting places.

Getting back to federal RINOs never addressing politically correct global warming, Democrats are “overlooking” that it’s probably because the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification feds the specific power to regulate, make policy, tax and spend in the name of global warming.

In other words, any Democratic federal edicts concerning so-called global warming are just another example of the unconstitutionally big federal government stealing state powers and uniquely associated state revenues.

But also consider that since Congress is gridlocked, Democrats must be politicking for 2020 elections.

Yawn. I hope they waste a couple of years of committee time going nowhere.

They’re flogging a dead horse.

Every time I think Trump might be vulnerable in 2020 I’m comforted by Democrats’ colossal stupidity. Raising your energy taxes through the roof in pursuit of a hoax is actually going to be the policy centerpiece of their presidential platform. They think this is a winner. The hapless GOP never had it so good.

They just had the timing wrong. Unless you think the last ice age was truly the last ice age (Meaning no more!) then ok! However their have been many ice ages and they’ll be many more, it’s just matter of when.

remember, gloBULL warming was not an issue in the mid-term elections. even Gov Moonbeam knew it was a non-starter, even tho Politico went on to quote phony Yale climate poll in this piece:

14 Sept: Politico: Democrats struggle to make voters care about climate change
Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris accord and rollback of environmental regulations still haven’t given the issue more urgency in the midterms.
By DAVID SIDERS
Despite repeated warnings about the severity of the crisis, climate change has long failed to gain traction as a voting issue in American elections...
Even Democrats this year rarely advertised on climate, running campaigns dominated instead by more immediate concerns about health care, immigration and jobs.

“It’s too remote. It’s not today. It’s not conflict,” California Gov. Jerry Brown, one of the nation’s leading advocates of efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, said in an interview. “So that’s where we are, and climate change is not jobs, not taxes, it’s not violent crime. It’s not sex. And it’s not immigration.”...

now, after the mid-terms, for the Dems it’s gloBULL warming all the way! shame on them.

Volcanic events would be the only likely cause of any "ice age".

It has been speculated that earth and mars had synchronous orbits at one time and may have traded spaces several times throughout the aeons.

Actually the last ice age hasn’t ended we are in a 22,000 year or so warming lull. The Quaternary is why we’re in now, a geologic time period characterized by cyclic transcontinental glaciations.

They can contribute. Other contributing factors changes in the sun (biggest!), changes in the sun’s, earth’s, Jupiter’s & Saturn’s magnetic fields. One we are only now starting to get a glimmer of understanding changes in the cosmic ray showers as the solar system goes around the galactic rim. That position correlates strongly with major climate events. Correlation is not always causation, but so far the physics also makes sense.

Won’t stop them from hauling Energy Execs before the committee and making life miserable for them

They’ll be sending out the paid “protestors” to swarm the execs homes and terrorize their families like they did with bankers

I’ve spent a lot of time in the last couple of years reading these Left-wing big government statist environmentalist blogs and websites. They sincerely and legitimately believe this apocalypse that the bogus study grant junkies in academia spew in exchange for billions of dollars of taxpayer money To pay the lease on their Audi A6.

To the point where they actually have anxiety and depression thinking the world is going to end like a terminator movie. I kind of feel sorry for them.

Typical RATS: they want to hold their very first meeting on a topic that doesn’t even exist. This after getting back the majority after two years. IDIOTS!
