The reason this sort of thing us picking up steam is due to the government using law enforcement as “revenue collection” agents and harassing “joe citizen” for a speeding ticket and using civil asset forfeiture seizure and structuring laws to steal from hard working small business owners and seniors.
Can’t say I blame the spirit of the vigilante in a era of state law enforcement “effective anarchy” and self interest.
In an age of self interest, it is countered by an age of God interest.
The problem is, I don’t see any kind of bible recipe for the acts of the people doing this. Were this to be proposed in almost any church, the preacher would tear his robes. Can God use the wicked to chasten the wicked? Why, yes. But both end up punished. There is no safe “side” to take other than to call both out of sin from a safe vantage point.
