President Trump has often criticized former President Barack Obama for having a “10-foot wall” around his house in Washington, D.C. Trump tweeted recently “President and Mrs. Obama built/has a ten foot Wall around their D.C. mansion/compound. I agree, totally necessary for their safety and security.”
Is this true?
Here’s what we know: Obama purchased a mansion in the D.C. neighborhood of Kalorama for $8.1 million in 2017. Beefed up security features have certainly been added to the home, including a tall pilloried wall around the front of the home and a high-tech guard tower for Secret Service to control entry to the home. However, no definitive accounts of the security features have been reported.
The Daily Caller traveled to Obama’s D.C. neighborhood to find out if the “10-foot wall” existed. What did we find? Obama does not have one wall. He has many. He has barricades. He has armed guards entirely blocking the suburban road where he lives. Multiple cement and iron barricades block the road leading up to the Obama mansion. A Secret Service car and agent keep people from entering the stretch of road on both ends approximately 1,000 feet in both directions.

Not necessary. Obama’s immediate neighbors are the Islamic Center of Washington DC, the Embassies of Oman, Turkey and Afghanistan.
He will be perfectly safe among friends.

a lot of pictures looks like before it was completed. I wonder who is doing the work ? The Pillars in front look to make it be about 8-10 feet...probably to hold an iron fence and a gate.
I haven’t been able to find a current picture of the house.
A lot of elite big players, dignitaries and other potential targets do all they can to create security which appears pleasing to the eye and low key. But it’s anything but that. People in the security biz understand perimeter security is not enough. You have to stop threats from even getting close to the residence/target. That’s why the article had to mention the street in front of and leading up to the residence is clearly protected/secured by hired guns. An unknown uninvited guest won’t even get close.
What is Hussein afraid of?
The good guys have no desire to make him a “martyr” and the bad guys know he is their friend.
Showing these things to the public, works. Keep showing things like this and they will run out of ammunition. They don’t care one way or the other.. they just parrot what they hear and what the left/media tells them. Most don’t know how to research on their own.

One look at the thousands in the caravans coming toward our border, would have put the US on alert and an emergency situation would have been declared... 40 years ago. Today we have been indoctrinated to believe this is no big deal.. just let them in! It can’t be allowed... we don’t know who they are ... it’s ridiculous to think otherwise! Look at Europe where they have let them in... it’s chaos and riots.. plus they run ever place they can get their hands on. Are we that stupid today???
Look at the census reports in the early 1900’s.. there are names of every person who came ashore from another country. They have names of every ship, every person on every ship.. where they came from, what their job was, their age and who was traveling with them. Each had to have a sponsor here, a place to stay and a line of work ahead. No one came and lived off the government.
The dems.. the “only party who cares for anyone”, invented welfare, freebies, and “the only thing we want is your vote.. otherwise we don’t care who you are or what you are.” As for where you live, we live behind walls, gates, and security... so come on over!

I wouldn’t think that 1,000 feet was practical.
As an expresident he must be protected and he does need his wall. I live in Texas. I need a wall on the border to protect me.
Pictures of the immoral walks around San Fran Nan’s estate would raise some eyebrows, it will take a lot of people on our side to post them on twitter where Libs reside!!! A caption that says SHE’s safe and sound HOWEVER us being safe and sound is immoral!!!!
