Saturday was another day, with another meeting between the Trump administration and Congress, and still no breakthrough on the shutdown. So it’s back to the drawing board on Sunday. The two sides met for over two hours just like they met on Friday with the same results: nothing, nada, zip. But Donald Trump befuddled Nancy Pelosi with some questions that left her mind reeling.
During one of the meetings, Trump asked Pelosi:
“Why does everyone want to impeach me, Nancy?”
To which Pelosi replied that no one wanted to impeach him, and tried to move back to border security. But the President didn’t let that slide, and he then zinged her about her Catholicism:
“The Vatican has walls. The Vatican has walls surrounding the city. You like the Vatican, Nancy?”
Actually, I would’ve rather he challenged her about why she called a border wall an “immorality” yet has no problem with funding abortion. How does that square up with her Catholic faith?
Pelosi’s answer showed that once again, Donald Trump befuddled her.
“Let’s change the subject, sir.”
A source says that Pelosi took the comments “not well.” I’m pretty sure Trump was laughing on the inside.

Because she’s another session of logical arguments away from Nancy playing the frail old woman card. How could you beat up on a frail old woman like that?

the blame for that must fall at the feet of GOPe leadership (well... the people who claim to run things) in the house and senate.
Gosh, I wish the President would let some of the media in on these discussions. It’s so much fun to watch......;)

Lordy, I gotta get new glasses. When I first glanced at the title I thought it said Trump was befuddled BY Pelosi. I was thinking, “now this is some seriously fake news!”
Exposing Hypocracy is an underused technique. Trump is getting the hang of it, but he could do better, by visual images, without comment.
(It’s the comments the marxists nitpick, changing the subject. Like Obama’s wall—they focused on the height, not the blatent hyoocracy)
Suggestion: Unannounced, Trump shows up to stand outside Pelosi’s mansion, and declare, “NANCY PELOSI, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!!!” Then leaves. Press pool brought, told nothing ahead of time. Cameras rolling.
No other comments, no questions. Hit and run. Can you imagine the heads exploding coast to coast? Every channel of msm will play it, over and over. Let the talking heads try and spin it.
It would be legendary, for generations. And turn the tide.
She’s never really tough, she just never ever gets asked any questions, no journalist wants to be the person who causes Nancy to have a stroke or a heart attack.

In that case, suggest our POTUS wear a helmet, just to be on the ‘safe side’. She’d be clawing at his face, after poking him in the eye.

EVERY House Republican for 8 years (you, too, Trey, for 6 of them) lacked the balls to do what the Rats have immediately done, and the Fraud’s crimes against America were great.
Pelosi befuddled? I thought that was her constant state.
Stealing the low-skilled jobs of American citizens is immoral.
