Black activists on Monday called for leadership changes and protests at an Alabama civil rights museum after it rescinded an award for political activist Angela Davis, a move the mayor said followed complaints from the Jewish community.

The Black Panthers killed a few including the judge that she supplied the guns to the murderers. The Communists killed millions. She definitely is deserving of something but an honor? More likely a kick in her commie @ss.
She's nothing but a communist. Any work she did for civil rights was purely accidental. It's bad enough she's been rewarded with do-nothing academic posts for life. No museum awards!

I heard her speak as a college student in 1974. She rambled for 45 minutes, I found it hard to believe that she was a college professor.

After Davis purchased firearms for personal security guards, those guards used them in the 1970 armed takeover of a Marin County, California courtroom, in which four people were killed.
She was acquitted by a California jury.
This is when the dingbats who had taken over the Presbyterian Church nationwide were shown up for the leftist scum that they were. Some leftwinger named Edler Hawkins was made Chief Moderator and authorized church funds to be used in Red Angela Davis’ defense. Many of the local congregations threatened to leave, including mine. The national church backed off in response to the firestorm but the damage was done with a long-term decline in membership - these arses were willing to fund lawyers for this filthy communist but they wouldn’t give a dime to support the troops at war in Vietnam.

There's a certain woman here named Angela Davis. I don't know if you are familiar with her in this country, but in our country, literally for one whole year, we heard of nothing at all except about Angela Davis. There was only Angela Davis in the whole world and she was suffering. We had our ears stuffed with Angela Davis. Little children in school were told to sign petitions in defense of Angela Davis. Little boys and girls, 5 and 9 years old in schools, were asked to do this.
Well... they set her free. Although she didn't have a rough time in this country, she came to recuperate in Soviet resorts. Some Soviet dissidents — but more important, a group of Czech dissidents— addressed an appeal to her: ''Comrade Davis, you were in prison. You know how unpleasant it is to sit in prison, especially when you consider yourself innocent. You now have such authority. Could you help our Czech prisoners? Could you stand up for those persons in Czechoslovakia who are being persecuted by the state?" Angela Davis answered: "They deserve what they get. Let them remain in prison." That is the face of communism. That's the heart of communism for you."

We have another Angela Davis on our hands, except that she attained power the ‘legal’ way, but through misleading people, and now, she’s the most popular and visible democrat, and most sought after ‘celebrity’ congressperson in Washington.
Both were/are equally dangerous, except one is not in hiding.

When Davis was arrested, a Communist Dairy Farmer, RODGER MCAFEE, in California paid her bail. HE the bought himself one of the earl AR-15s on the market to protect himself.

Assholes like her remain in your mind, but you don’t necessarily remember why. It really shocked me to hear she was a professor at a university. I wouldn’t want that person anywhere near my kids.
Angela Davis is a person that sticks out in my mind from the 60s or 70s, and I mean in a very negative way.
She was a grade A jackass back then. Almost surprised she lived until now.
