President Trump has he authority to build the wall????? Then why hasn’t he? If he is waiting for the communists to give him permission, then the wall will never be built. Facts are facts. Call it a National Emergency and use the Constitution to do it. Then ignore the communists courts and build it. It is really way past due.
Trump asked for 8 minutes. If he goes over do the networks cut it off then say he lied about only needing 8 minutes?
I've been wondering this for a while now - I don't have any really good answers. If this is such a crisis, which I believe it has been for a good long while now, why don't we have a wall or one under construction now? Does president Trump really want to build this wall or are we being played.

I can only speculate that PDJT intends to embarrass the House/Senate rats who are are on the wrong side of this.

I was reading the stats the other day, some pretty frightening stuff: This fentanyl crap that comes from China sent to Mexico which is then sneaked across the border (tell me again how China isn’t trying to destroy us) This stuff has the potential to kill MILLIONS of people. Just a few grains, a salt shake is enough to kill and ICE, the cops, are busting people all the time for it.

What's so fascinating about EA76 is that, if Congress were to withdraw it (and they could), it would remove constraints on the President!
The other thing is, if President Trump declares a National Emergency under EA76, WOW the tools at his disposal, WOW.

Mueller is a retired (well-decorated) Marine.
Under EA76, Trump could literally recall Mueller into active duty.
As such, Mueller -- as an O-2 -- could no longer function as Special Counsel, because he would now be under Trump as the Commander-in-Chief!

A judge does not have oversight of a commander’s operational decisions. The could not, for example, order Gen Patton to stop his counter attack in the Battle of the Bulge.
Making defensive strategic decisions to protect America against danger would not be anyone’s decision but the commander in chief’s.

According to my calculations building a wall out of steel bollards is going to be very expensive.
40 ft 6x10x3/8 wall thickness rectangular steel pipe $1600 ea.
3500 bollards per mile= $5,620,000 per mile
1000 miles=$562,000,000,000
Thats at single unit costs, but that’s a lot of money.
I think I read here the estimated cost was $9.5 million per mile
