good logic but. . . Obama was exactly the same as AOC. Charming with no depth, nothing intellectual, vacuous, simplistic. He won in a landslide since the left chose the Republican candidate, John McCain.

Excellent points...
Comparatively, AOC disappears in Crenshaw’s shadow. AOC worked as a bartender and waitress, and as an organizer for Bernie Sander's 2016 presidential campaign. She lacks minimum real-world experience and touts a juvenile’s Utopia as her political aspiration. While Crenshaw makes compelling statements like 10 years of security experience has taught him that a physical barrier is essential for border security, AOC argues that she can cure global weather changes with high taxes on American workers.

AOC is the quintessential cockeyed optimist, while Dan Crenshaw is the respectable and experienced realist.

To which I answer McSally vs Sinema.

"AOC, in contrast, speaks in discordant babble." So true, nonsensical gibberish. “She is an idiot’s idiot with a little girl voice that gives expressive form to her thoughts and dreams.’ Scott Johnson, Powerline

Conservative equivalents to Alexandria Oscario-Cortez (in the sense of becoming national news because they were an outspoken insurgent who won a congressional race in a huge upset WITHOUT the blessing of the party machine) would be guys like Joe Walsh, Allen West, and David Brat. Sadly all of which only lasted a few years in office, which even more sadly won't be the case for Oscario-Cortez.

To have an exact equivalent, we'd need an ultra-conservative outsider congressional candidate who beat an entrenched establishment conservative congressman. I doubt such a creature exists. And the people who tried to portray themselves as such ::cough:: Dr. Milton Wolf :: cough:: were jokes. Unfortunately for them, GOP voters aren't like the Dems and actually care about things like credible candidates.

I am in TX. Not a fan of Crenshaw. Another neocon Warmonger, as far as I’m concerned. Israel Firster, Wants long term middle East intervention. Supports anti-BDS.

I don’t think so.
I think he may be another Scott Brown flash in the pan.
Scott (Cosmo centerfold) became overly concerned with reaching across the aisle and being pals with the Dems.

Not sure we need direct “answers” to specific people on their side...I prefer a well-rounded conservative field where all will fight against any of their corrupt thugs.

RE: Who's buying AOC’s wardrobe-her daddy?

Not many dads can afford to drop a million a year on clothes and shoes. Wait and see. The minute she loses celebrity status, the wardrobe will downsize dramatically. Meanwhile, haven't seen the same designer clothes twice on her.

Walsh seems to be tweeting anti-Trump garbage on a daily basis now.

Sorry, not seeing it. Walsh says he applauds Trump when he's right and criticizes him when he's wrong, which any reasonable person would do. I am not a fan of the AlwaysTrumpers nor the NeverTrumpers. Here is Joe Walsh's comments on Twitter today about Trump's speech:

Joe Walsh
President Trump gave a good speech last night. He made a compelling case for border security. I wish he'd given the speech a year ago when the Republicans controlled Congress. But what's done is done.
Now go build that wall.

Sounds to me like he was a lot more positive about the speech than numerous FReepers, many of whom thought the speech was underwhelming and complained about it.

And I can't disagree with Walsh's contention that the speech would have been more effective if he had given it a year ago when the GOP controlled the House. The RATs won't listen to reason.

I have to agree with Impy. Walsh is Ron Gunzberger’s favorite Tea Party turned moonbat Never Trumper go-to guy for posting hate on his Politics1 Twatter feed. He’s as unreadable as the Dem loons. He lost his mind.

Look harder, Politics1.com is retweeting him like almost every day, look at this crap

Here are some of the latest

,,,,,Conservative media is upset with last night’s “real-time fact checking” of Trump’s speech.

Look, this may be heresy among my fellow conservatives, but we’ve never had a President like Trump, who lies virtually every time he opens his mouth.

Sorry, but that’s just the truth.,,,,,,,,,

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,During the 2016 campaign, Trump’s campaign chairman shared confidential campaign polling data with a high level Russian intelligence officer and then lied about it to Robert Mueller.

I still think that’s the biggest news of the day.,,,,,,,,,,,

,,,,,,,,,,,No emergency orders to build a wall. He’s not a king.

Right, Conservatives?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

,,,,,,,,,,,,,A caller into my radio show just now: “A Member of Congress shouldn’t use that kind of language. She should be held to a higher standard.”

“Should the President of the United States be held to a higher standard too?” I asked.

No answer.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
