Crenshaw is likable but he’s seem quite establishmenty, so no he’s not an an analog to Sandy Cortez.

Conservative equivalents to Alexandria Oscario-Cortez (in the sense of becoming national news because they were an outspoken insurgent who won a congressional race in a huge upset WITHOUT the blessing of the party machine) would be guys like Joe Walsh, Allen West, and David Brat. Sadly all of which only lasted a few years in office, which even more sadly won't be the case for Oscario-Cortez.

To have an exact equivalent, we'd need an ultra-conservative outsider congressional candidate who beat an entrenched establishment conservative congressman. I doubt such a creature exists. And the people who tried to portray themselves as such ::cough:: Dr. Milton Wolf :: cough:: were jokes. Unfortunately for them, GOP voters aren't like the Dems and actually care about things like credible candidates.
