At the risk of being flamed, this was the worst I’ve seen Trump. Sniffling and just running sentences with no feeling. He needs the audience. Can’t master the Teleprompter like Obama.....and the speech was meaningless. He wants to meet tomorrow with democraps so they can say no again? Sorry what was the point of this?

This is a problem caused by congress and trump was put in office to fix it. The shutdown is the last card to play because we all know it’s now or never. Trump should also use the debt ceiling this way if the shutdown runs this long.
Per the speech I liked the line about wall’s not about hating those on the outside but loving those in the inside. A general concept I’ve always whipped out on the commies about locking the door on your house - keeping folks out or locking your family in.
