Every new illegal immigrant that enters the United States will cost more than $82,000 each over their lifetime, a conservative think tank that advocates for lower immigration levels has claimed.
The Center for Immigration Studies updated their 2012 analysis which put the average lifetime net fiscal cost of a border crosser at $74,722. In the six years since, the price has jumped to $82,191.

The NY Post had an article last night..if food stamps/welfare were cut off to illegal aliens, that would pay for the wall itself, wouldn’t cost taxpayers or Mexico one dime..but can Trump do it by executive order or would he need to get Congressional approval? And WHY are we paying for welfare/food stamps for illegals anyway?? I know almost forgot, Dems need to pay them off for their votes
Cali passed prop 197 in the 90s. I t restricted all aid for illegals. The Cal appeals court struck down most of it. Gov Gay Davis refused to appeal the decision not backing the voters. Since that time bennies for illegals, schools, medical, etc have been an “entitlement” No one will stand on their hind legs and challenge it. If trump can stop some of those payments, it will more than pay for the wall. In Cal, we spend 21 bill a year on bennies to illegals.
Imagine cutting off funding NATIONWIDE..it would pay for the wall, border security, everything. Illegal aliens do NOT deserve welfare/food stamps on our dime. That is why they come here, NOT for a better life, but to mooch off of the Govt for life. Cut it off and it pays for the wall entirely

If you and your spouse pay $25,000 per year in taxes, over a 40 year work life you will have given the Federal government ONE MILLION dollars.
The only thing we should do for illegals is incase of emergency medical, give enough care to get them home.
There is a reason Democrats want illegal immigration - the 2020 census. Liberal states have sanctuary laws to encourage illegals to come to their states. More people translates to more congressional House seats. 5 million illegals in California translates to 7 congressional House seats. That is all Democrats care about.

Ahhh, I hadn’t thought of that. It’s true that there is a fixed number of House seats that are apportioned to individual states based on their respective populations. It never occurred to me that that count would include illegal immigrants, but I’m inclined to think that’s correct.
If we cut off the benes they won’t come at all and we wouldn’t even need a wall. Win/win situation
