NEW YORK - An estimated 35.3 million people saw President Donald Trump and Democratic leaders speak to the nation on border security and the partial government shutdown.
That's about 10 million fewer viewers than Trump had for his 2018 State of the Union address. The Nielsen company said Wednesday it was similar to President Barack Obama's 2014 presidential address on fighting the Islamic state, which was seen by 34 million people.

Trump “wins” this fight by losing. He wants this as a campaign issue in 2020, so he makes a huge stink about it now, gets “betrayed” by Republicans in congress and then keeps you entertained for 2020. He’s already said this is his plan in tweet form.
I didn’t watch the Presidents speech because he would just be preaching to the choir in my house. And I definitely didn’t watch the Chuck & Nancy show because I didn’t feel like buying a new TV after I threw something at it.
Some radio stations carried the speech without fear of network bias. We listened to it.
Me too. I mostly just watch Fox Business these days (excluding Cavuto). Lou Dobbs it about the most intelligent, sensible commentator on the airwaves these days. I miss Charles Payne who used to come on before Dobbs. Haven’t watched Brett Bauer or Chris Wallace in over a year. I do wake up with Fox & Friends and may tune in to the second half of Hannity after his mega monologue is over. If I want to hear his talking points I can replay any of his shows to get it. I watch mainly for his guests.
You should really watch the Chuck and Nancy response.
They are so stiff. They look like the characters from The Walking Dead.
I asked my 20 year old son what he thought of those two. I did not coach him. His response was: “he looks like Frankenstein’s monster and she looks like a deer in the headlights.”
If a 20 year old snowflake thinks this, imagine what other people think.
Actually, that night after the speech Hannity did not have his monolog. The show was watchable. Plus Mark Levin called in and even though Hannity tried to interrupt him, Mark would not let him. I turned it off after Levin when they went to commercial.
Stormy Daniels wants everyone to know that 10K people watched her on YouTube that same night.
She was in her undies folding laundry.
Wonder what her 12 yr old daughter will think about that later on?
