WASHINGTON (AP) - President Donald Trump stalked out of his negotiating meeting with congressional leaders Wednesday — "I said bye-bye," he tweeted soon after — as efforts to end the 19-day partial government shutdown fell into deeper disarray over his demand for billions of dollars to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. Hundreds of thousands of federal workers now face lost paychecks on Friday.

Schumer is such a liar. Poor Pence has to sit in on every meeting with these creeps just to tell the truth!
That is exactly what happened. The press just needs to make it appear that President Trump acts like a child, because that is the narrative the Democrats want the press to portray his actions as. As the dutiful lap dogs, the press complies with their tails (tongues) wagging in unison, the uniformed become the misinformed. Perhaps the FCC should be the ones who determine what is fake news and pull the licenses of those participating in the dissemination of that fake news, and put them out of business. When the courts complain, ignore them. When they try to broadcast jail them and send them to GITMO.
Not being picky, and DJT is surely a better negotiator than I, but I would have ended the meeting by saying, “Bye-Bye, you may go.”. Rather than leaving the room, have them escorted out as you go back to work. Just a territorial kind of thing.

I would say to keep us informed...otherwise we won’t even know what’s being told to the country - and that makes it much harder to fight.

Half are working, so they deserve back pay. The ones not working - well, I would not be surprised if Trump starts to inch in that direction to apply some heat on the Dems. Perhaps he’ll say that I’ll only pay the non-workers for 3 weeks of missed work, but no more than that (i.e., he’ll veto anything with a longer back-pay period).
Now that would be FUN!!!
Remember, it was the Democrats who said before the meeting that all Trump does is lie. This was staged.
I wasn’t in the room. Both could be lying for all I know. I did find it interesting that McCarthy suggested if there is a next time, they should video tape it.
Not just Walls...they have Armed Security also!
