Are you sure the president can veto a repeal resolution? I’m not sure it takes his approval to go into effect
Yes, the president gets to veto repeals, as Obama did on a bill to partially repeal his health care law.
I don’t know the details. There is some stuff that may only need a majority to pass and not be subject to veto...so we’ll find out.
