Missing teen Jayme Closs was found alive and a suspect is in custody, the Barron County Sheriff's Department reported on its Facebook page Thursday night.
Jayme vanished early Oct. 15 when sheriffs deputies, responding to a 911 call, found the door to her familys home near Barron kicked in. Her parents, James, 56, and Denise, 46, were found shot to death, but Jayme was missing. She had not been seen or heard from since.
The Sheriff's Department was notified earlier Thursday evening by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office that it had located Jayme, 13, a student at Riverview Middle School in Barron, the Facebook post said.
A suspect was taken into custody shortly after Jayme was located, the Facebook post said.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that a source with knowledge of the investigation said Jayme escaped from a home and approached a neighbor, identifying herself and asking the neighbor to call 911.

Closs should be the poster child for a national campaign to stomp out child sex pedophilia once and for all. There needs to be, at a minimum, mandatory life for these perverted calculating demonic abusers. This beautiful child’s like has been damaged irreparably because of the perverted mind of a scumbag.
Im quite sure she was abused. But did they break into the home, shoot her parent to death to get at her? Or was there something else going on and she happened to be there.
Slow electrocution on live TV, say 5 hours.
10 am CT press conference...the cops were there 4 minutes after the 911 call when her parents were killed and she was already missing.
NBC is now speaking (by phone) with the woman who took her into her house yesterday. She really should wait for the cops to interview both her and Jayme for the trial of her abductor and murderer of her parents.
There has been a lot of local speculation that her "disappearance" may have been prearranged or assisted by her at least in part. The house where her parents were found had seen a significant struggle prior to their fatal shooting so it's hard telling just yet. But of course, you run smack dab into the concept of consent but when we are talking about the homicide deaths of her parents, it gets complicated I think?
There are a lot of wack-a-do trailer park trash living in the Superior/Solon Springs/Gordon/Minong area of Wisconsin. That's "Deliverance" sort of country where you wouldn't want to leave your dog or your daughter out alone after dark.
I hope we do learn the unvarnished truth before this is all over, but it might not be as innocent or as tidy as a kidnapping by a maniac.
That girl’s troubles have only just begun.Hopefully there are,or soon will be,good people in her life who will help her. She’s gonna need a lot of help.

Before rushing to judgement, I need to hear the news conference from the police today. I’ll be praying for her.
Pretty amazing that the woman walking her dog that Jayme ran to for help is a retired social worker with cps. And the dog walker only arrived in the area thursday.
btt
She is gonna need emotional support whatever the story is so hope she gets it.
We'll see how it develops but these things are never as simple as they appear at first. Regardless, if he did the crime I hope he suffers for it.
The suspect is being charge two charges of murder and one charge of kidnapping. Does WI have the death penalty?
Jake Thomas Patterson age 21 of Gordon arrested for 2 homicides and kidnapping.
No death penalty in Wisconsin. They were talking about bringing it back after Jeffrey Dahmer's rape, murder and dismemberment of 17 gay men but the bleeding heart liberals would never allow that.
Wisconsin? hell no.
Don’t need the death penalty. He’ll be killed in prison within a year.
Shame. Because if this man did it, no one deserves it more.
