This ‘mountain town’ church sounds like a Reformed Church.
This one is BPC, not PCA. One of the micro denominations.
It’s easy. If they are National Council ofchurches they are apostate. This group is obviously NOT NCC. God bless them for telling the truth. It is not hateful— the loving thing to do is to tell the truth.
It is very reformed, about as reformed as they get, at least the pastor is. I've got the pastor as one of my fb friends, his sermons etc make fools out those people who have no clue about reform theology and declare themselves reformed and those that want to declare themselves as 3 and 4 point Calvinists.
There is also an Orthodox Presbyterian Church denomination which doesn’t ordain women and is still highly biblical in teaching.
