That’s been my theory about the underground lifestyle too. They say it was to keep warm during a cold period, I think it was because of the Sun’s radiation intensity.

But I can share that we have not moved physically yet. I would have had to re-aim my C band satellite dish and it’s pretty sensitive.

According to historical records of the past event cycles this time it will be a full blown long term deep ice age. It’s actually late...

If it flips, will the whole earth flip or just it?

Lets go to the people that know our nitwit congress

Yes, we’re heading back into an Ice Age. If anything, global warming could be seen as heading the Age off for a while. People who think they can keep everything just as it is are in for frustrating times. Things change.

A “Pole” shift is way different than a magnetic pole flip.

If you were to look at the polarity of iron in the crust under the Atlantic Ocean, you would see it flip regularly from north to south.

A pole shift would be a “slippage” of the entire crust of the earth. Kind of like if the skin of an orange came loose and slid around above the orange.

One is survivable. The other...not so much.

The way I read it is that the during this shift, the crust would be like riding a wave a couple of miles high at 300 miles an hour. While it might seem fun at first, the ride would last for 15 or 20 minutes. And the it would come crashing down.

You become oil after something like that.

Well, there is scientific proof.

The direction of the polarity of iron in the earth crust is aligned with the magnetic field.

If you look at that alignment in a place that has been constant and relatively undisturbed you will see patterns of change in the rock. The patterns look like stripes.

This has been tested and proven on the crust on either side of the Atlantic Ridge.

What causes it was still unknown back in 1982 when I took my last geology course.

Yep, Absolutely. By the ice core records we are now late for the next cold cycle. While it has been getting colder for the last 8k or so we have slowed it down a bit. Is it you I see posting stuff from Robert’s Ice Age Now site? I reference there every morning and he is keeping pretty good track of it.

Had a tour of duty at a LORAN-C radio navigation transmitter that had been upgraded for FAA-IFR. 100mHz radio waves or digital signals from a satellite relies not on magnetism and the only time the end user was affected by crazy magnetism was during sunspot activity. These guys are acting like Magellan is about to set sail over the north pole in his wooden ship with a Cracker Jack compass, a sextant and no map.

Oh man... Since you are one of the few who “get it” you need it. He has some great charts and reference sources about this.

I saw someone link to it a couple weeks ago so I wasn’t sure if it was you or not. I will have to keep my eye open and make note next time.

Absolutely my privilege... There are some great videos on Youtube also. After quite a few years of research on this, everything is starting to ring true.

There is actually a scientific field dedicated to just these studies in stone.

Thanks...I always refer people to the painting of Washington crossing the river in 1777...that tail end of the mini ice age 1350 to 1750 showing big blocks of ice in the river.

There is also some documentary evidence of "the year with no summer" from journals around that time

Finally, the painting in the Tate Gallery London from 1620.."The Frozen Thames"

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

River Thames frost fairs were held on the tideway of the River Thames at London in some of the winters between the 17th century and early 19th century, during the period known as the Little Ice Age, when the river froze over. During that time the British winter was more severe than it is now, and the river was wider and slower, further impeded by the medieval Old London Bridge.

Even at its peak, in the mid-17th century, the Thames freezing at London was less frequent than modern legend sometimes suggests, never exceeding about one year in ten except for four winters between 1649 and 1666. From 1400 to the removal of the now-replaced medieval London Bridge in 1835, there were 24 winters in which the Thames was recorded to have frozen over at London; if "more or less frozen over" years (in parentheses) are included, the number is 26: 1408, 1435, 1506, 1514, 1537, 1565, 1595, 1608, 1621, 1635, 1649, 1655, 1663, 1666, 1677, 1684, 1695, 1709, 1716, 1740, (1768), 1776, (1785), 1788, 1795, and 1814. So, of the 24, the by-century totals are: 15th two, 16th five, 17th ten, 18th six, 19th one.[1] Frost fairs were far more common elsewhere in Europe, for example in the Netherlands. The Thames freezes over more often upstream, beyond the reach of the tide, especially above the weirs, of which Teddington Lock is the lowest. The last great freeze of the higher Thames was in 1962–63.[2]

During the Great Frost of 1683–84, the worst frost recorded in England,[3][4][5] the Thames was completely frozen for two months, with the ice reaching a thickness of 11 inches (28 cm) in London. Solid ice was reported extending for miles off the coasts of the southern North Sea (England, France and the Low Countries), causing severe problems for shipping and preventing the use of many harbours.[6] Near Manchester, the ground was frozen to 27 inches (69 cm), in Somerset, to more than 4 feet (1.2 m).

Note the last comment: the ground was frozen to 27 inches, in Somerset, to more than 4 feet>

So when the next ice age kicks in ..expect the water pipes frozen solid.

Not good.

Life becomes cold, brutal and short.

World food supplies will take a hit first. We are already seeing this the last three winters. This was the greatest threat throughout the mini ice age and it caused all kinds of havoc and conflict around the globe including cannibalism.

This is standard. It moves a little every year. Nav maps get updated. Since GPS, most people don’t know and don’t care. It was more important when our inertial nav system used it as the alignment starting point,
