Pole shift coming
A Pole shift is way different than a magnetic pole flip.
If you were to look at the polarity of iron in the crust under the Atlantic Ocean, you would see it flip regularly from north to south.
A pole shift would be a slippage of the entire crust of the earth. Kind of like if the skin of an orange came loose and slid around above the orange.
One is survivable. The other...not so much.
The way I read it is that the during this shift, the crust would be like riding a wave a couple of miles high at 300 miles an hour. While it might seem fun at first, the ride would last for 15 or 20 minutes. And the it would come crashing down.
You become oil after something like that.
