I know plenty of “Bobs.” Normally they just carry-on with their cognitive dissonance, internal conflict and ideological anger, and continue to vote “D.”
We see this in the extreme when people go to Africa or the Middle East because they want to believe everyone is inherently good, we're all the same, and if we just get to know each other we can all be friends.
Liberals will vote to destroy their cities with refugees just to prove they're not racists and bigots like conservatives.
And the weak kneed will do anything to keep in good standing with the more virulent leftists to the point of strapping a bomb to themselves and walking it into a public place to prove that they are down for the cause. Figuratively or perhaps actually. This drags the left even further into satanic lunacy in a never ending ratchet effect towards a more chaotic future. That is their goal.
