Members of the U.S. House and Senate have left Washington D.C. for the weekend without solving the border security crisis or a way to reopen the government.

So there you have it.

In the meantime, President Trump hosted another border security roundtable at the White House Friday afternoon and called on Democrats to come back to the negotiating table.

Maybe he’s going to wait until the 15,000 people caravan reaches the border. The media will help sell the wall by showing all of the starving children. Trump states it’s a humanitarian crisis and demands 6.7 billion. An extra billion to take care of the starving people who have been lied to about an open border and who are being used by the democrats to further their political agenda.

Trust me, he’s enjoying this. He sees them swinging and writhing on the vine....

Read those tweets again, and pretend like Trump is smiling as he types away....

He’s got these people where he wants them. Can you imagine the behind the scenes lambasting they’re getting?

I mean, Danny Douche, Cher etc are telling Pelosi and company to get their heads out of their butt...

Congress has been promising for 30 years to fix immigration but their pocketbooks, both R and D have prevented that. Drain the cesspool.

That would backfire. The demand would be that the new caravan would be let in. Prediction....if President Trump gets conned into waiting for that, a judge will be in place to stop him, and there will be a planned protest demanding their entry. That’s the way Chuck and Nancy and their buddies play.

C'mon. Chuck and Nancy are laughing at how weak President Trump is. The new line is "if it really were a National Emergency, Trump would've done it, not just tweeted about it."

I remember in the campaign when Trump criticized Obama for announcing his attentions in Iraq, instead of just doing it. So why is President Trump announcing his intentions instead of doing the National Emergency? His campaign rhetoric is you don't warn the enemy. And Syria? He did it right. Pull those troops out that are in Syria, a nation that never attacked us. And now he's backtracked.

For the life of me I don’t know why they have to get paid during a shutdown.

He’s giving them one last maybe more to crawl back and make a deal. It’s hilarious...He’s at the WH, cancels all vacations and trips...

Would be better for him to get them to agree on this, then move on. Going the other route is going to waste time...

Trust me, he will follow thru on this...

They’re the ones who need their paychecks held. Of course, those checks are nothing but chicken feed compared to what they skim off the taxpayers and what they get under the table.

I pray to God you're correct. The nation is through if the Deplorable Agenda isn't implemented.

I thought the first mistake was signing that first out of balance budget that didn't address the wall or infrastructure. President Trump at that time seemed to assume that swamp creatures had some decency and honor about them. They don't.....I've taken to referring to them by their global affiliation, The Illuminati.

He played the hands he was dealt. He had Paul Ryan and a skeptical GOP senate.

He was faced right out of the box, Iran, NK, Syria, Iraq, China, and beaten down, pulled back military.

The worst thing would be to start things off with no funds for the military.

He gave them all they want, “appropriations” money still has to be used, so he could get the largest military budget passed.

He then lobs a few bunker buster bombs, hits Syria a couple times, then sable rattles NK and Iran... and he’s the new sheriff in town.

No, very smart, and he did it alone. Paul Ryan and company did nothing to help him...

You're too kind. My hypothesis which gets stronger every day is that Ryan and his fellow travelers threw not just a few conservative US Senate seats, but the House majority.

This has been my opinion since early in PDJT's administration. Ryan is a true snake.

A majority of those who are vocal and supported by the media support Nancy. Look how many situations have been framed to make conservatives look bad.

This isn't a game of "who gets credit". It's the nation that's at stake. President Trump can't save the nation if he does stuff he knows isn't what's best for the nation if he's afraid of losing.
