“shutdown could not have come at a worse time for the Internal Revenue Service”

It was a gift to the employees giving them extra Christmas and New Years holidays they were not charged for.

“shutdown could not have come at a worse time for the Internal Revenue Service”

Obama had a shutdown in Oct. 2013 and at the time, they said it would delay refunds so pretty much any time is “a worse time” I guess.

Just cuts into their porn surfing time mostly I bet.

Out of the first 14 days 6 were work days. Rest Holidays or Weekends.

Employers have until Jan 31 to get you W2 out. No IRS refunds would begin until Mid Feb. They are Electronic mostly. Any one who is on SS gets their checks via Electronic transfer. Mine came in with COLA raise on the 9th.

And our Tricare Life CO-Pays went up Jan 1.
