I think when Rush first lived in the Sacto area, he lived in the (completely seperate) city of West Sacramento, which is less than 10 miles from Davis, the city where this killing happened.
West Sacto is a total sh*thole, but it’s what Rush could afford at the time.
After McClellan (AFB) closed, Rio Linda became a total sh*thole also.
West Sacramento is a city west of the river. Rio Linda is north of Sacramento.
